Welcome to Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu – KK8, Universiti Malaya
Kolej Kediaman Kelapan (KK8), also known as Kinabalu Residential College, is the 8th Residential College at Universiti Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur. Completed in 1985 and officially opened on 18 December 1987, KK8 stands proudly within the UM campus – much like Mount Kinabalu, the highest peak in Southeast Asia, after which it is named.
Room Accommodation
KK8 provides on-campus accommodation for eligible Universiti Malaya students. Rooms are allocated based on academic performance, distance from campus, and availability.
College Facilities
KK8 offers comprehensive facilities including Dewan Seri Mutiara, Bilik Suluq (The Cube), Dewan Makan, meeting rooms, sports courts, and a convenience store for residents.
Student Life & Activities
Life at KK8 is vibrant and community-driven. Students participate in sports, cultural performances, college elections, and events organised by PSMKH throughout the year.
